A Part of Me Is in Everything I Create
March 22, 2023

For Tammy Coron, it's never about the products, it's about the people. Whether she's coding a video game, creating digital art, or writing a book, she puts a little of herself—and her family and her friends—into everything she does. She thinks about the people who will be playing her games or reading her books, and she gives them a story they can immerse themselves in. It's never once been about the money; it's all about sharing her creations with the world.

We recently sat down with Tammy to discuss mobile app and game development, the joys of 2D games, what makes for great games, storytelling, and how to create immersive experiences that people want to keep coming back to over and over again. Along the way, Tammy shared invaluable insights on embracing messy processes and on the satisfaction that comes with teaching people to do things for themselves.

You can read the full interview with Tammy at https://forum.devtalk.com/t/spotlight-tammy-coron-author-interview-and-ama/100003/2. And while you're there, be sure to drop a question in the AMA. You'll get a personal answer back, and you'll also get a chance to win a free ebook copy of Apple Game Frameworks and Technologies.
