You Know It When You See It
September 20, 2023

Describing the beauty of a language is like asking artists what makes a painting beautiful. We sat down with Sean Moriarity to discuss languages, machine learning, and tech. It's hard to express in words, but you know it when you see it.

To Sean, Elixir is a beautifully crafted language and programming itself is as much an art as a science. During our chat, we discussed Elixir's strengths for writing programs for machine learning and mathematics. For Sean, the functional approach of Elixir aligns perfectly with mathematical computations. We chatted about how one gets to the point of deploying mission-critical, fault-tolerant applications using Elixir because, in his opinion, Elixir is the ideal option. Read the interview and see if he can convince you too.

You can read the full interview with Sean at https://forum.devtalk.com/t/spotlight-sean-moriarity-author-interview-and-ama/124628. And while you're there, be sure to drop a question in the AMA. You'll get a personal answer back, and you'll also get a chance to win a free ebook copy of Machine Learning in Elixir.
