What's better that getting great technical books at half price?
I think it's getting the books for a song while also helping support a small (really small) business.
I know that the Black Friday phenomenon is normally something you associate with giant retailers—we're not a big-box store, or an international online shop. We're just a tiny group of people doing something we love for a community we're part of, and this is our annual version of a fall/Black Friday/whatever sale.
Traditionally we offer 40% off. This year, as an experiment, we've bumped it up to 50%. So, if there are books of ours that you've thought about buying, now would be the time. If you've always wanted to tinker, we have great books that'll get you started. Or maybe you want to get into functional programming, learn a new language, or start down the path towards management. Or perhaps you want to learn how AI actually works.
And, whatever you end up doing, remember to make it fun. |
